Its all about looking good!
This little person shows you how even a Kitchen Floor Sweeper can look great!
Here, with her fancy hat and mouth piece, she is able to keep all that high flyin' dust off her hair and out of her mouth .
Her top of the line equipment gets almost everything cleaned up because we all know that the taller the broom the better it sweeps.
Her practical attire with just a touch of lace shows she has a serious approach with still a little girlie girl influence.
No matter how good she looks though, she really
needs to back up and get everything off the floor!

Red eyes and tears...
That's what I saw this morning when I dropped Ella off at her new school. She now officially goes to the daycare instead of the babysitter. Meadowland Child Learning Center. It was excruciatingly sad to set her down and have her mope over to a teacher, crawl up on her lap, and look at me with her eyes turning red and filling over the brim with tears, then eventually into a full cry. Brought tears to my own eyes and I wanted to scoop her back up and go home! Hopefully, as Ella gets used to the idea of the daycare, it will be easier to drop her off.

Alfredo!!!!
No. That's not the name Jet and Stephen have chosen for their baby. I'm just trying out this blog thing and what better way than with a recipe (since we are all foodies in this family). We had this as part of our spaghetti day on Saturday, 2/9/08.
Better Than Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce
1/2 cup butter
2 cups heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 t white pepper
1/2 c grated or shredded parmesan
3/4 cup shredded mozarella
Melt butter in saucepan; add cream, pepper, garlic and parmesan. Bring to a simmer and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add Mozarella and stir often. That's it! How much easier could it get.
I mixed in a few shakes of ground nutmeg at the end and it was a nice improvement. One word of advice..... don't make more than what you can use right away. The leftover sauce is a bit on the weird side. I doubled the recipe and it was a lot of sauce. Another helpful hint is to overcook some garlic bread (oops) and use the sauce to dip it in!
